A Little Blog About Me, Daniel
Hello, my name is Daniel Hegedus. I am a Gr. 9 student at Laurel Heights Secondary school. I have 4 family members. My dad, my mom, my brother and me. My brother is 8 years old and he is in Gr. 3, and both of my parents work from home because of COVID. My favourite sport is basketball because it is very entertaining to watch, and because I think that I am pretty skilled at playing the sport, and because I think that I will be pretty tall considering I am 5'6 in Gr. 9 alone. My favourite player in basketball is Kawhi Leonard, because he played for my favourite team, the Toronto Raptors, and won the Raptors their first championship in the history of the franchise.
I also love school, and spending time with my friends, doing work with them, talking with them, and making new friends along the way too. Friends are something that you can keep for your entire life, and keep it close to your heart, or you lose some, and you make some along the way. That is simply the nature of life. I love learning about new things that I never learned before, and trying something new in the school environment such as a new sports team or a new club that I am interested in. My favourite subject is science because it is unpredictable and predictable at the exact same time because of the Fibonacci sequence for example, and you can always discover something new that nobody ever knew about. It is also fun to experiment with different liquids, gases, and solids and combine them to make a reaction that is super cool. Another extracurricular I do is that I play the violin. I would recommend other people to also try the violin or another instrument because it enhances your brain and it is almost like you are learning a new language that can only be spoken through music in all kinds of different instruments. Personally, I chose the violin, because it is one of the most complex and hardest instruments to master, and when I heard it for the first time, it just sounded very beautiful in my opinion, and that is when I thought in my head "I want to learn how do play like that," and decided to continue on with my dream of learning to play really well. (So far, I am in my 6th year of playing, and I think I made very good progress). That was my blog. I hoped you enjoyed reading it, and learned something new about me.
